Globatron University

When Globatron.org reached its 1000th post in order to celebrate this historic moment we launched our most ambitious project to date, Globatron University (GU)…

Globatron

Globatron is an alter ego character that was developed in order to relate to issues in contemporary art and culture. He is masked so he can speak the truth.

Polar Brokers

Polar Brokers is a series of drawings where I took the bio pics of big oil executives and morphed images of polar bears into their silhouettes.

Trophy Soldiers

TrophySoldiers.com is a web project made in 2007 that became a reaction to my own personal desensitization to the imagery from the war in Iraq.

Target Practice

A public art project started by members of jaxcal.org, the predecessor to globatron.org. The project was installed one cold windy Saturday morning.

Net Art

Coming of age in the digital era I was extremely inspired by net art projects such as: superbad.com, potatoland.com and hoogerbrugge.com.

Ode to Obama

A collection of Obama related content posted on Globatron.org during the 2008 Presidential election.  It’s a mixed bag really. Most of it is either documentation or collaborative art projects.

The Pink Series

This series was created in 2006. I did this series in response to my first child Claire. I was attempting to illustrate the core values of which [...]

My Arsenal

These are all fake weapons assembled from detritus found in my Brooklyn neighborhood on weekly walks around the block during garbage day.  This project was probably the most fun [...]

Archive 2

This work was created from 2002 to 2005.  More information upon request.

Archive 1

This work was created from 1996 to 2001.  I received my B.F.A. from Florida State University in 1997 in Tallahassee, Florida. I then moved to New York where I [...]

Piped Piper

The Piped Piper project was made from old photos collected from my wife’s grandmother. Looking through an old box of photos it came to light that in the seventies her and her husband owned a fleet of icecream trucks in New Jersey. The photos were just too amazing to not do something with [...]

e-Claire

e-Claire is just a fun project where I took several photos of my firstborn infant and had them react to javascript roll-overs so the user could animate her facial reaction.  The object used was her favorite toy at the time.  Click here to view.

Suburbia Your Utopia

A project that documented my block at our very first apartment as a couple with our newborn child.  The project was created by taking a photo every three steps with a camera then adding the frames together into a time-line.  From point A to B.

Mr. Apathy

Mr. Apathy was a collaborative animation project by handful from the creative department of an advertising agency I worked at. I was the Art Director for the project and came up with the concept. Basically he represents the apathy that pervades our culture.

25 Stop Lights

25 Stop Lights was a project where I photographed all of the stop lights on the way to work outside my side view mirror while stopped at the light. The images were then collaged into a time-line with a family member who had a significant impact on several generations.
